Because the hot knife melts the end of the tape, cutting is sealed neatly without any fraying. Because the upper knife is stationary and the lower knife plate is unfastened, its durability is very long. Cutting time (stroke time) can be easily adjusted by a seperate control unit. The lower plate is powered by a pneumatic cylinder. |

It is possible to have up to 14 point marks within one cutting cycle. It is also possible to have more than one point parallel. Instead of a point marking it is also possible to have a hot punching needle, in order to insert holes into the material, which have a sealed edge. Distances between the marking points can be set easily on the machine's control panel.
